Often a large, thick, bulky chunk of stone used as a key accent for landscaping. An outcropping stone is a part of a rock formation coming out of bedrock to the surface of the ground.
Used to build large, “natural” retaining walls in landscape applications. Stones are cut to irregular shapes for a natural aesthetic appearance, blending into the landscape while adding structure. Approximate coverage is 5 sq ft per ton, measuring between 4-5’ L x 3-4’ W x 6-8” thick.
