Summercrisp Pear (Pyrus ‘Summercrisp’)

The Semi-Dwarf Summercrisp Pear is one of the hardiest pears and from the University of Minnesota (introduced in 1985). It has early May blooming and is a fireblig`ht resistant plant with the fruit ripening in midAugust. The fruit should be harvested when green with a red blush, and still very firm. This fruit can be stored up to 2 months.
